Motoring TV 2016 Car of the Year

The rules for Motoring TV's Car of the Year are simple: Winners from each individual category—of which there were 11 for 2016—are eligible.
That mean the Mercedes-AMG GT; Honda Civic; Maxda CX-3; Chevrolet Volt; Cadillac ATS-V; Chevrolet Malibu; Kia Optima; Kia Sorento; Volvo XC90; BMW 7 Series; and Mazda MX-5 were all in the running this year for overall Car of the Year.
