On certain vehicles, the rear connection point from the side curtain air bags to the air bag inflators could disengage during deployment. If this occurs, the effectiveness of the side curtain air bags could be reduced, which would increase the risk of injury to the occupants. Correction: Dealers will replace the side curtain airbag modules with an updated design. Additional information may be available on Transport Canada's website |
