Hyundai Veloster N Performance Concept Headed to SEMA

The 2019 SEMA Show in Las Vegas is fast approaching and many automakers have already announced their lineup for the event.

Hyundai is no exception. We first saw an off-road-ready Veloster; now, check out this sportier version of the Veloster N hatchback.

The Veloster N Performance Concept features engineered, OEM-quality performance additions for the regular 275-horsepower model. Sadly, though, output remains unchanged.

The chassis is improved with an Extreme Racing coilover suspension, Daewon Steel anti-roll bars and WIF braces in the front, centre and rear. Alcon supplied six-piston front and four-piston rear brake calipers to bite 380- and 360-mm discs, respectively.

The 19-inch OZ forged racing wheels with N-brand carbon wheel caps are wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires (235/35R19) for extra grip and handling, while Capristo cat-back anodized exhaust tips are designed to provide a throatier sound.

Styling is cranked up a notch, as well. Consider the new hood scoop, grille garnish, fog lamp garnish, front splitter, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, outside mirror covers and engine cover. Orange accents beautifully contrast with the dark matte grey body.

Naturally, the Hyundai Veloster N Performance Concept gets a host of interior upgrades, starting with Sabelt alcantara and carbon sport seats. Alcantara is also used for the steering wheel (including the horn pad), gear shift boot, parking lever, top dashboard, instrument panel, roof pillars, headliner, armrest and door uppers.

The gear shift knob is finished in aluminum, just like the N-branded door sill covers. A red engine start button and sport floor mats complete the package.

We will have more stories and pictures of the wild vehicles on display at the 2019 SEMA Show (Nov. 5-8), so keep following us!
