Check out the Six Ford Ranger Models for SEMA

Now wanting to wait for the 2019 SEMA Show to kick off in Las Vegas on November 5, Ford this week revealed the six custom-built Ranger models that will be featured at the event.

In fact, with more than 50 vehicles on exhibit, the Blue Oval will boast the largest original equipment manufacturer display at SEMA this year.

“The automotive aftermarket space continues to grow at a tremendous pace from powerful street machines to the latest trends in overlanding and off-road,” said Eric Cin, global director, Ford Vehicle Personalization and Accessories. “The Ranger [is a] great fit for this space, capable of being modified in countless ways to give owners the flexibility to make their vehicle as unique as they are.”

Tjin Edition Ford Ranger

Following up their purple RTR Ford Mustang from the 2018 show, father and son designers Neil and Collin Tjin were looking to create their unique take on Ranger. Instead of raising the suspension, they lowered the truck eight inches in the front and nine inches in the rear to give it a street-ready stance. Falken tires wrap custom 20-inch Rotiform LHR-M three-piece wheels.

RTR fender flares and an RTR grille with triangle LED lights add muscle and flair, while the custom BASF yellow paint contrasts with the one-off black wood bed floor.

RTR Rambler Ford Ranger

According to Ford, this is meant to be the ultimate overlanding and support vehicle for owners seeking to enjoy the great outdoors. Signature RTR modern-aggressive styling combines with purposeful and practical features, such as a SkyRise tent and integrated snowboard support capsule.

The Ford Performance off-road suspension leveling kit provides a two-inch front lift to go along with underbody rock protection and 33-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tires.

Yakima Ford Ranger

Here is an all-sports, overlanding special created by Ford Accessories partner Yakima, once again with a Ford Performance off-road suspension leveling kit providing a two-inch front lift.

While the Fuel Recoil off-road wheels and 33-inch BFGoodrich T/A KO2 tires are impossible to miss, the important features on this Ranger are the truck bed rack, JayLow kayak mount and HangOver vertical four-bike carrier with BackSwing mount.

Advanced Accessory Concepts Ford Ranger

Yes, we assure you, there is a 2019 Ford Ranger under all those accessories. Built for exploration, this concept is all about strength and protection, boasting AFN bumpers, skid plate, rock sliders and Ford Performance rear differential cover.

For camping, you get an AFN aluminum tray bed with canopy, a Tepui Hybox tent and a 1.7-cubic foot refrigerator by ARB.

Hellwig Ford Ranger

Are you beginning to see a common theme here? This truck is designed to get to remote locations with such features as a 3.5-inch Icon suspension, 17-inch Icon Compression wheels, Addictive Desert Designs rock sliders and bumpers. It is augmented with Hellwig sway bars, a Ford Performance Parts cat-back exhaust, rear differential cover and recovery kit.

A definite highlight is the addition of Goal Zero solar power, allowing users to reduce their carbon footprint while exploring new terrains. With a Trail Kitchens stove on a bed slide and Tepui hard-shell tent on top of that, this Ranger gives a new meaning to “autonomous vehicle.”
