2019 Ram 1500: Pricing Announced for Canada

The totally redesigned Ram 1500 will be on sale this spring, and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has just announced its pricing structure.

Base price will be set at $42,095 before freight and delivery charges. That’s for a Tradesman Quad Cab 4x2 equipped with a 3.6-litre V6 that includes eTorque mild hybrid technology. The most expensive version is the Limited Crew Cab 4x4 Long Bed with a 5.7-litre HEMI V8, which will retail for $74,595 before options.

Somewhere in the middle, there’s the 2019 Ram 1500 Sport that was presented at the Toronto Auto Show, a trim level that will be unique for the Canadian market. The Sport Quad Cab 4x2 will start at $52,595, and that includes the HEMI V8.

Upgrading from the V6 to the V8 will cost an extra $1,900 in the Tradesman and Big Horn trims. In the Sport, Rebel, Laramie, Longhorn and Limited, upgrading from the regular V8 to the version with eTorque technology will cost an additional $500.

In comparison, the 2018 Ram 1500 starts at an MSRP of $32,970 before freight and delivery charges. However, that’s for an ST Regular Cab 4x2. The 2019 model no longer offers a Regular Cab configuration, which partly explains why the new truck’s base price is higher.
