Canadian Premiere: Lotus Evora 400 Trades Comfort for Raw Performance

Just like the Swedish brand Volvo, the English brand Lotus now belongs to China’s Geely. And if Geely does the same thing with Lotus as it did with Volvo, its future will be very bright. Lotus’ fate hinges on the Evora 400, which is new to Canada. Equipped with a 400-horsepower 3.5L V6, this sports car weighs in at just 1400 kilograms, accelerates powerfully and handles with astounding poise. Word to the wise: be prepared to sacrifice a bit (make that a lot) of comfort. On the other hand, you do get air conditioning and an infotainment system.
