Here Is The 2017 Genesis G80

Hyundai keeps on dissociating its most luxurious models from its core brand: today, we discover the 2017 Genesis G80, a rebadged version of the Genesis sedan.

Visually, the only way to discern the G80 from its previous career as an upscale Hyundai is the badges. The car comes with bi-xenon headlights, LED daytime running lamps and 18- or 19-inch wheels depending on the version.

Under the hood, the same engines choice remain: base versions comes with the 3.8-litre V6 and its 311 horsepower, while the 420-hp, 5.0-litre V8 is optional. In Canada, all-wheel drive will likely be standard as before, and sending power to all four wheels is an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Inside, occupants are cradled in luxury. Twelve-position adjustable seats come standard, as does the eight-inch infotainement screen, navigation and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The excellent Lexicon 17-speaker sound system is back on the options list.
