McLaren Limited Edition MSO Carbon Series LT: More Carbon!

Contemporary supercars are not only powerful and fast, but they are also built using the very latest technologies available. From active aerodynamics to carbon fibre, nothing gets overlooked in the quest for more performance.

McLaren decided that its 675LT Spyder, its fastest convertible yet, could lose a few pounds. To do this, the English manufacturer put it on a carbon fibre diet.

It's hard to believe, but the McLaren Limited Edition MSO Carbon Series LT incorporates 40% more carbon fibre than the regular 675LT Spyder. The roof, tonneau, A-pillars, engine cover and rear deck are all made from this material, in addition to every single body panel and the car's platform itself.

Final weight hasn't been announced, but it's safe to say this McLaren is lighter than the "regular" 675LT.

To make all that carbon fibre stand out, McLaren won't paint the Series LT: they'll simply cover it in a protective layer of resin, which will really make the material stand out.

If you want one, I sadly have bad news for you: only 25 units of the McLaren Limited Edition MSO Carbon Series LT will ever be produced, and they have already been sold.
