Bentley will auction a Continental GT V8 S Convertible to benefit a charity. The car has been entirely drawn by Sir Peter Blake.

The car will be auctioned at the Goodwood Festival Of Speed in England on June 24. The Care2Save Charitable Trust will get the benefits of this sale. The English foundation helps peoples in palliative care.

The English artist got famous by drawing The Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club album cover. Sir Peter Blake also designed some albums from The Who, Oasis and Paul Weller. You can recognize its artwork by the use of primary colours (popular in the 60’s) and the St James Red Heart, which he includes in most of its work.

The particular colour scheme of the Continental GT is meant to evoke children’s innocence. The blue is used predominantly and is meant to honour St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice, the closest hospital from Bentley’s assembly plant.

Each seat is autographed by Sir Peter Blake and a plaque reminding everyone of the car’s unique provenance is fitted to the doorsills.
