Here Is The 2017 Kia Sportage

Kia showed us some teasers of its Sportage compact SUV, which was set to be unveiled to the world at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month.

However, the dark armies of the Internet struck again; spy shots of the vehicle were published, and we now know what the vehicle will look like.

The manufacturer then decided to reveal its vehicle in advance; meet the 2017 Kia Sportage.

According to Kia, their stylists (lead by Peter Schreyer) in charge of the project got their design inspiration from modern fighter jets. Up front, Kia’s typical grille is back, and it is now lower in the fascia. You can also see the new fog lights, which look like rocket launchers.

The side profile is also all-new, and we can see that the front headlights are stretched toward the sides.

The back of the Sportage gets pointy taillights that look like those found on the brand’s flagship, the K900. Details like the silver panel just over the tailpipes give it a classy look.

Kia has yet to unveil the exact specifications of the Sportage; to learn more (and to see the vehicle in its entirety) we will have to wait until the Frankfurt Motor Show.
