First Images Of The SRT Tomahawk

When the Vision Gran Turismo program was announced –in which Sony asked various manufacturer’s designers to create a vehicle that would herald the future of their brand– many interesting manufacturers were listed as participants: Chevrolet, Honda, Mazda… however, one of them in particular got my attention: SRT. Since it did not have a lot of products at the time (the Charger and Challenger Hellcat weren’t yet announced), we thought that SRT would either roll out a completely mad Viper or a bespoke futuristic car.

SRT chose the second option: the Tomahawk Concept (which will be unveiled in its entirety shortly) has nothing in common with any current production model. We don’t have all the details yet, but we know that it will be a single-seater with a hybrid powertrain made entirely out of carbon fibre with active aero… In other words, it’s not your regular muscle car with a huge pushrod V8 shoehorned into it!

We will see the SRT Tomahawk Concept soon, and it will be available to be driven in Gran Turismo 6 shortly thereafter.
