Pagani Huayra Dinastia: Honouring China

This isn’t a secret anymore: China is one of the biggest automotive markets in the world. Not only for the regular vehicles that normal people drive, but also for ultra-luxury cars: in the last few years, this country’s economy has skyrocketed, meaning that those who have found ways to take advantage of it can now indulge themselves and buy some unique supercars.

To mark the importation of Paganis into China via Pagani China Automotive Limited, the Italian manufacturer announced the creation of three unique cars. Named the Huayra Dinastia, production will be capped at three units: one blue, one red and one gold. Each colour was selected by Horatio Pagani himself, and the cars will sport some unique differences to help them stand out in the sea of Huayras currently registered. For example, the shark fins on the back and the Chinese dragon design on the flanks of the car.

So why only 3 Huayra Dinastias? In Mandarin, the number three sounds like the word Sheng, which means life and resurrection.

The engine stays the same, meaning that the tried-and-proven AMG-sourced twin-turbo V12 will still be used. The car still pumps out 700 horsepower, can scoot from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.3 seconds, hit 370 km/h and sounds like the voice of a Greek god.
