Koenigsegg Has To Recall The Entire American Agera Production

In a shocking turn of events, Koenigsegg, the Swedish supercar maker, just received reports of a problem that the NHTSA found important enough to trigger the recall of all the Agera models ever sold in America. This is the first time in the history of the brand that something like this has happened.

It would seem that a computer error concerning the tire pressure monitor is to blame: if a warning lights up in the dashboard and the owner shuts the car down, the warning won't come up immediately when the vehicle is started again. It could take as long as 5 minutes for it to reappear. According to the authorities, this is serious enough to prompt a recall.

Koenigsegg had to engineer a fix for one car.

That's right, there has only been one car touched, since the Agera R has been sold for a very short time. The manufacturer called the owner, and arranged for an update to be downloaded to the car's computer.

This will probably go down as the smallest recall in the history of cars.
